The location of Matfen Hall Hotel is stunning and amazing. It was a very comfortable stay for a wedding. - the area is lovely and very close to restaurants at reasonable times. - Matfen Hall is such an establishment. - Alnwick and Bamburgh are great for day trips.

The leisure facilities were small but very good. The hotel was in a lovely location, with great grounds to it, especially the Golf Course. The hotel was well presented and clean, with excellent staff.
